TEND
Not just a performance — an experience to tend to what’s ready to move.
“I didn’t expect to cry — or to feel so seen. This was unlike anything I’ve experienced.”
— Rhonda
Come tend to the parts of you that have been quietly waiting.
This is not a show you watch. It’s a feeling you meet.
A sacred container of sound, movement, and energy —
where your intentions are witnessed,
and dance becomes a channel for deep release.
Join the next private performance, or book one of your own.

What is TEND?
TEND is an intimate performance-meets-healing experience, where contemporary dance and intuitive energy work merge into a live, moving ritual.
Before the performance, each guest is invited to name what they’re ready to release, a thought, a pattern, a sensation, or a story.
What follows is a soul-led, improvised movement journey in response, woven with sound bowls, ambient music, and the unseen currents of the room.
It’s personal.
It’s powerful.
It’s unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
Who is TEND for?
TEND is for you if...
-
You’re carrying something you can’t quite name, but deeply feel
-
You’ve been longing for softness, depth, and energetic release
-
You love dance or performance, but crave more meaning and magic
-
You want to gather your community in a unique, intimate way
-
You’re curious about energy healing and open to transformation

This isn’t just for dancers, or healers, it’s for humans with hearts.
“There was a moment I felt something shift in my chest, like it just opened. I left lighter.”
-Linda
What Happens in a TEND Experience
Every TEND event is unique and made up of the people who attend.

These are intimate setting, typically ranging from 5-20 people.

You can expect the evening to flow like this...
1. Arrive — into a softly lit, intentional space
2. Reflect — you’ll be invited to write down what you’re holding or ready to release
3. Receive — I’ll attune to the energy of the room and begin the performance
4. Release — movement, sound, stillness, and energy will move through us
5. Rest — the ceremony ends with quiet integration and gentle closing
Every performance is unique — shaped by your energy, your stories,
your presence.
Tend to the shift. Move the stuck.
Let the light in
Our bodies hold what our minds forget.
Unspoken fears. Longing. Emotional residue.
But when we create space to feel, witness, and move — something begins to alchemize.
In TEND, movement becomes medicine.
Presence becomes power.
And your energy has room to breathe.
This isn’t performance for applause.
It’s ceremony for the soul.

“I actually didn't know watching dance could have such an effect on you! Akeisha's ability to manipulate energy and pull you into this healing world was a profound experience. I highly recommend this experience”

Meet Akeisha
Akeisha is a professionally trained dancer with a BFA in Dance from Simon Fraser University, specializing in ballet and contemporary performance. She has traveled the world studying her craft — not just as an artist, but as a vessel for something deeper: transformation through movement.

She spent six years as the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of WAREHAUSE, a Vancouver-based dance collective known for bold, emotionally resonant work. Her choreography is often described as visceral, fluid, and raw — the kind of work that moves something deep within.

Long before she ever trained in energy healing, her body was already channeling it.
Her passion for energetics and emotional truth was woven through her movement — expressing what words never could.

Now, she blends her gifts in performance, energy work, and embodiment to create something completely unique: an experience that invites your body to remember, release, and come alive again.

What she creates comes from her heart — and calls to yours.
